When you feel shame, look to Him. When someone puts shame on you, look to Him!
We are all a mess. That’s why he came! Don’t live any longer in shame or guilt or bitterness, look to the finished work of Jesus! Consider Isaiah’s words…
“…he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.” (Isaiah 53:12 ESV)
He paid for sin. Confess, repent, forgive, move forward!
Don’t dwell in bitterness and contempt.
God doesn’t.
As his disciple, you must not either.
