I’m up in WVa mountains at a pastor’s conference. Its a really valuable time for think and talking about leadership.

From the “Shema,” I offer these questions to ask God about myself:

What do the words that come from my mouth tell me about the condition of my heart?

What do my fears tell me about what I REALLY believe and thus the true state of my soul?

What are the ways I am renewing my mind?

Which of my activities are drawing my strength away from serving God?

Lord, please show me and change me, I can’t, you must.

This weekend, I’ll be visiting friends and ministry partners in San Jose, CA. On Saturday afternoon at 5, I’ll be speaking at Twin Oaks Church!
