Is the basis of the counsel…

Is the counsel you receive based upon and steeped in the words of men (the shifting winds of modern ideas) or on the timeless truths of the Bible? Who is your mentor, coach or discipler listening to?

“It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools.” Eccles. 7.5, ESV

God’s wisdom is from above, not so much from beside.

‭ “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim 3:16-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Heaven and earth will pass away,…

… but my words will not pass away.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:35‬
