Sunset over the Tisza

The big city has been left behind. Tonight, just before I took this shot of deep dusk over the Tisza river, I urged the folks here to “set their mind on the Spirit” It’s the theme for the week that I adapted from Romans 8. I shared my own experience of God meeting me as I disciplined myself each morning to meet with Him. During our session we mediated on Psalm 29, but just now I was reminded of this…

“How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭84:1-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬) http://bible.com/59/psa.84.1-4.esv
