“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Ps. 84:10 ESV

Remember that when trouble comes…

“They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from your law. But you are near, O Lord, and all your commandments are true. Long have I known from your testimonies that you have founded them forever.”
Psalm 119:150-152 ESV

When it hurts…
In the middle of the night I awoke. Anxiously, I lay there.
I arose because I’ve learned not to just lie there in a pool of emotions. I went to my chair and opened the Psalms. For I know the way to my refuge.

I read until peace pushed away the tide of fear.
Run to the word of God, dear saint. Run to be comforted in the midst of your trial.
“Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!” Ps. 66:20 ESV
Glory to God!
