A hard saying…

This is the gateway to a now closed  subway in Budapest.

I was having a heavy conversation with a good friend recently and the subject of who’s in and who’s out was a focus… it is a hard subject. This morning the M’Cheyne train took me here:

“”Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Though the way is narrow, the gateway – unlike the one in the picture – made possible by the finished work of Jesus is still open. Join the few who will enter, you are welcome to come in!

Good thoughts. But what subway was closed?

  2. Did they shut down the 1-es metro?

  3. A subway as in a subterranean passage. In this case for pedestrians that provided a way under the street and the 4-6 tram on the Pest end of Margit hid.
