That being the case, the best response to a screaming baby on the plane is a stoical one: here’s a chance to practice your patience and gin up your karma. Even if you’ve never been a crying baby or had a crying baby, all of us are a nuisance at some point or another.”

Good article and I agree. Most parents try the best they can in that situation and sometimes flying is really the only option. It’s not fun for the parent either to have a screaming baby on an airplane. (not that I’d know this because all my kids never cried on airplanes….. probably because they rarely travelled on airplanes.)
