man, no posts since Monday or something… it was a crazy busy week as my spring school schedule heats up…
this week our school did Les Mis… it was great… when the bishop gave Valjean the platter and told him, “I have bought your soul for God” – it reminded me that Jesus bought us with a great price… his own life… and as Valjean responded to this purchase with [my version] I am a new man… I think we are called to view art and culture through the lens of the gospel, this is what Paul is talking about in 2 Cor. 10:5 when he talks about capturing every thought for Christ… I think this is what Dan is talking about over on his blog (the link is in my blogroll)… new people, capturing our thoughts for He who made us new!
