“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalms‬ ‭139:23-24‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I worshipped our God, the God of creation, from the middle of the Pacific Ocean. On three islands we saw the incredible handiwork of God. From standing and taking in the splendor of his work, I truly gained a fresh understanding of the word ‘awe’.

“By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.” Psalms‬ ‭65:5-8‬

So we must concur with Paul: “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

When Jesus was “in the Spirit” he glorified the Father…
