The Bridge

Driving across the Danube River on the Chain Bridge in Budapest.
Jesus is often referred to as a bridge. this is usually an evangelistic idea. However, I think there are many, many times in our life when we need to be reminded that when we’re facing troubles Jesus is still the way across troubled waters. It’s not always our experience, our skills or our gifts… it’s our reliance on God to bring us across troubled waters. The Gospel should change us daily as we seek for Him to be our bridge

out of the tunnel

A unique perspective for me as a non driver (usually) in this part of the world. Sitting in a line and waiting. I head of us, the opening, the bright light. But we were standing still. I am reminded that sometimes we have to wait, be still, and we will emerge into His light.

commencement
Having donned caps and gowns, the leadership, faculty and candidates for graduation marched into the commencement exercises at ETF this morning. This was an international event with graduates from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Croatia.
After welcoming remarks by founder Peter Kuzmic, we were blessed to hear and sing Amazing Grace.

This was followed by the awarding of diplomas. Both Bachelors and Masters degrees were conferred upon graduates. This is the 40th year of ETF, and of further significance is the awarding of the first doctoral degree in the history of the institution.
Here they are!
