After the long surgery, in the middle of the night Oleg returned to surgery to address some complications.
He remains in Intensive Care.
Please pray for his mom, Anna. Her access to her son is very limited because he is in ICU.
She has been incredibly strong and demonstrates great trust in God during this ordeal.
This seems like a critical moment for us to pray.

I am so sorry to hear of Oleg’s complications after surgery. I pray that by now he is, or soon will be, out of ICU.
Since hearing about what happened to Oleg, my heart and prayers have also gone out to Anna. While Ted was not in a direct line of fire while in the Middle East, he was in a theater of war while in Kuwait. All around him, were people who hated having American soldiers in their country, who tried to harm them with their automobiles, and by stealth means, much like the zealot daggermen of Jesus’ time. I cannot describe the degree of fear and helplessness I felt during that time. I’m sure that Anna has felt the same way the entire time that Oleg and any other of her family members have been serving in this war. My heart and prayers go out to her every day as she endures this time of not knowing, and all of the terrible imaginings and fear that go with it.
