I love remembering this perspective. From 2,200 feet above the sea, you can’t quite tell that the waves down there look like this…

It’s normal, it’s human to struggle with circumstances. When we find ourselves in a time of fear, frustration, or being overwhelmed, remember, dear fellow disciple of Jesus, God is greater and He is for you. Turn your eyes upon the greatness of God.
“Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O Lord.” Psalm 36:5-6 ESV
“A Christian is like a ship at anchor, which, though safe, may sometimes be tossed upon the water.” – Thomas Watson
Changing our perspective on circumstances is frequently the best cure for our feelings.
Turn to Him and bask in His greatness and allow His Spirit to bring you comfort.
There is little better to help us with perspective than to dwell in the Psalms every day.
