If, indeed, God is,
Then He is greater than all else.
If He is greater than everything,
Then He is, by necessity,
Creator.
He has revealed such,
And revealed Himself to us,
Not just what He does,
But who and what He is.
He created humans.
Immediately after He made them,
In His image,
He communicated with them,
So they would know how to live,
For His glory.
But man, having that ability to obey,
Or not,
Didn’t.
And fell,
Thus the world was broken.
Taking creation with him.
Man was and is broken.
But God never ultimately gave up;
For His love is steadfast.
It must be so because God is immutable,
He changes not, His compassion fails not.
Great is His faithfulness.
God continued to care for mankind.
He never ultimately gave up,
Because of His faithfulness,
Which is a manifestation of His immutability,
He cannot change.
We can count on Him.
Always.
God revealed Himself and,
He used man to put His love and care into words.
If the creator, holy, almighty God writes,
It must be true.
In His love letters, Scripture,
Yes, often tough love,
He promised ultimate help.
Man’s plight required not just sustenance,
But ultimate help,
That gets to the core problem,
Not just the surface errors,
Sins,
But the core error,
Sinfulness.
Man needed to be made new,
Changed from the inside.
So, the Son of God came, Jesus,
The second person of the Triune God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Three in One.
True, but yet, to us,
It can be a mystery.
He gives us faith,
We believe by faith.
So, Jesus is God become man,
God incarnate, fully God,
Fully man.
True, but yet, to us,
It can be a mystery.
He gives us faith;
We believe by faith.
He lived.
He taught.
He healed.
He raised the dead.
He was killed.
For us.
Willingly.
It was God’s plan.
He was buried.
He rose!
He defeated death.
God, the Father sent His son.
He remains steadfast.
It is His nature.
The almighty, unchanging, creator, of all that is,
Died for you and me.
So that we may be changed inside out.
Today, at the right hand of God,
At the throne of Grace,
He prays,
For us,
For He understands.
So, the Son sent the Spirit,
The Holy Spirit,
The Third Person of the triune God.
True, but yet, to us,
it can be a mystery.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Three in One,
The all powerful, apart-yet present, incredible God.
We, who have been called, justified,
Have been filled by the Spirit,
And are being changed by Him,
Slowly, steadily, in spite of ups and downs,
Into the image of Jesus.
So like Him, we may give glory to the Father,
Full of grace and truth.
So, now, my point is, my dear brother,
If we are in dwelt by the Creator God, the Holy Spirit,
Who is greater that everything,
Who has given us faith,
How can anyone,
Including ourselves,
Remove us from the grip
Of the all powerful Son of God,
Jesus?
It is, of course, impossible.
So, those who think they wriggle loose,
Were never in that steadfast, almighty,
Powerful grip.
May they truly come,
So that He may truly save,
And change them,
In truth,
Once,
And for all.

Soli Deo Gloria.
