The war continues.
We’re still partnering with our colleagues inside Ukraine!
Please pray for:
the cooks who prepare and package the meals;

drivers who take these meals into harms way;

donors who continue to help us help them;
the 200,000 persons inside Ukraine who have been helped, may they see the hope on God our partners have!

First things first, grow in knowing and giving glory to the greatness of God…
“Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,

and the heavens are the work of your hands.

They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
but you are the same, and your years have no end.”
When we are focused on the power of his hand, his never ending care for us, his image bearers, THEN we can truly be assured…
“The children of your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before you.”
Psalm 102:25-28 ESV
Study the greatness of God, whose great plan brought Jesus whose finished work restored us to God, give ample time giving him praise and then you will be sure of his care. He is faithful and NEVER CHANGES!
No matter the injustices we deal with, he is steadfast!
Worship, thank and adore him first, each day, then ask what you will and trust him!

As we hear the word of God preached today, may bring us into a keener understanding of Him today. As we grow in grace, may He use us to bring him glory!
“Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.”
Psalm 119:18 ESV

As I’ve been working on the sermon for tomorrow, this question is preeminent: How does my view of God effect my ability to be humble?
If my view of God is smaller than my own sense of responsibility, isn’t my ability to “cast my anxieties on him” weakened?

If my view of God, my knowledge of God, is continuing to grow, doesn’t my ability to trust him grow likewise?
If my understanding of his greatness is developing, won’t my ability to trust and wait for him for a “little while” be enlarged as well?
There is a direct correlation between continuing to prayerfully dig into his inspired word and growth in him, and therefore growth in my trust in him, and therefore my ability to give him glory.
This is so helpful in times of suffering and struggle.
Know him.
Hang on to him!
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 5:6-11 ESV)
