I’m in the Shenandoah valley on a planning retreat. Hiking clears my mind. Since the Appalachian Trail is nearby, I took advantage…
“My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped.” Psalm 17:5 ESV
The climb up the section I was on is a mostly rocky path…
It was worth the effort…
Before I struck out on this hour of exertion, I planned the trip so I wouldn’t fall down one of these…
“Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.” Proverbs 4:26 ESV
Afterward, it was back to work with a view…
To ponder our path on a regular basis is valuable. It is helpful to be reminded…
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 ESV
At 02:09 local time this morning all of Ukraine was under the air raid sirens.
When any of us are under attack of any kind, let us be reminded of The LORD’s admonition to Joshua:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 ESV)
Whether it’s a lion’s den, a dying loved one, or an air raid, let us focus our hearts and minds on the ppromises of God.
He is with us.

Please pray for peace.
Please pray for those who serve nonstop.
Please pray that many will give to help feed, house and give the gospel to the displaced inside Ukraine.
