Home
After about 4 hours in cars, two trains totalling about 3 hours, a night in a hotel and 14 hours in an airplane (with, hands down, THE BEST service in the sky – Korean Air) we are home. Thankful for so much: neighbors who looked after things, people who drove us places and picked us up, our awesome family in Korea. It was a great three weeks and I am reminded how much I love Korea.
Here’s how I look at a well timed trip: you’re sad to leave, but ready to go home.
I was sad to leave but am so glad to be home for a couple of days.

time?
I’ve always said time doesn’t exist, that it is a human construct of measurement and today, I’m gonna prove it! Because at 10:20 this morning our flight home is going to take off and we are going to be in the plane for 13 hours and 20 minutes but when we land in Washington, it will only be 10:40… 20 minutes later! See, I proved it. A minute on a clock is not more real than an inch on a ruler or a cm on a … oh whatever.

final pic from Korea
Mt. Halla in the center of Jeju Island. The highest point in S. Korea. Fresh snow had fallen for two days.
