Also, in the IHT is an interview with the French president… A friend to the US? Can I remember such a thing? click here In this interview, Sarkozy says the Americans and the French are alike in that they both believe they hold to “universal values.” Interesting.

some thots on identity

So my friend JR spoke on seeking identity at our retreat.
He asked the question: Who are you?

Its not your name…
Its not your family…
Its not your nationality…

Its deeper… much deeper than any of that.

He quoted the song Grace by U2… I found a cool presentation on youtube that has some very meaningful images set to the song… check it out.

More later… gotta finish writing about the revolutionary period for class.
