travelin’ continues
I’m travelin’ today on the continuing journey. Here is your link to the plan-pray-praise: CLICK HERE. I hope you will pray for me journey. Mainly for wellness, strength and wisdom (it begins with consecutive overnight flights).
New on this trip, I’ll be posting for the first time from Congo (DRC), where its always summer… perhaps with some monkeys… Then South Africa (an annual stop) where it’s autumn and then to Bethlehem (another first visit) where it’s spring? And I’ll be engaging in study.
My personal focus there will be to ask questions of Palestinians about peace and reconciliation. My hope is that I can get those conversations to the question of who is Jesus.
Then to the Balkans, Hungary and home. All along, visiting with CEO ministry partners and friends about which I agree with Paul when he wrote to the Philippians:
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:3-6 ESV)

Grace
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. (Revelation 22:17 ESV)
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. (Revelation 22:21 ESV)

lots of suffering all over
There is a lot of suffering in this world, always has been…
I heard a teacher say that Westerners in general and Americans in particular are both averse to and work hard to avoid suffering. Huh. That resonates with me.
A long time ago God gave some insight:
In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:6-7 ESV)
