We dumped 18 years worth of change into one of those machines that give you certificates to use in various stores. The machine kicked out the coins it didn’t recognize: 17 nations from family travels + a couple more.
Bottom left is Peru (no idea where that came from), Costa Rica, Mexico, USA (a ’67 Kennedy half dollar!), Canada, UK, German Marks, French Franc, Italian Lire, S. African Rand, Turkey, Jugoslavija, Hungary, Austrian Shilling, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and tallest pile from S. Korea. (Also a Spanish euro cent and a Jan Hus commemorative – maybe from Prague?).
