with whom are you meeting to consider your own growth?

Jesus said to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

I have previously suggested 4 questions to ask oneself to keep tabs on how we might be doing with that.

It was once said, you can’t see you own face. We need trusted people to speak with to consider our own spiritual (and every other kind of ) growth.

Some call it having a mentor, a coach, a discipler… the point is to have a person to be honest with.

Hopefully, with some regularity.

So, with whom are you meeting to consider your own growth?

I know that discipleship is a big thing in churches these days, but I think there are questions on how to implement it, or even what it is. I know of a friend who has a real passion for discipleship and has mentored several women and wants to do more in my church…. but the people she’s approached have all been ‘too busy’. Plus, since she’s done it for so many years, (she’s 82) she has her own system, that includes: one-on-one, only 8 weeks, never meeting in her own home (only theirs or public spaces) etc.

I think that your questions you linked are worthy questions to ask oneself or another.
