it’s still an important event

A friend pointed out a quote from a book today.

Consider, in this quote, how ‘everyday’ abortion has become to many:

“I got an abortion and learned how to make dehydrated tuna flakes and turkey jerky and took a refresher course on basic first aid and practiced using my water purifier in my kitchen sink.”*

Now hang on a second. Think about that.

Abortion is a medical procedure. It is NOT like stopping to buy a loaf of bread.

But there are those today who would wish to make this serious issue a very everyday and okay non-event. The writer of this sentence and those who promote this philosophy want just that… for us to believe abortion is not a big deal.

Please think about this and don’t just blow off this issue.
