I’m a firm believer that in order to abide in Christ, as he said, we need to sit with him in a given time and place… When I’m travelin, this is more difficult, but here at home, this is my place to seek God’s work in me.
As Spurgeon put it “If you want power in prayer, you must remain in loving, living, lasting, conscious, abiding union with Jesus”. For me that union is deepened in this place in the morning. Before I converse with people, I will converse with God (again – Spurgeon).
This morning I’m focusing on gratitude. I am grateful for this spot and the discipline to meet God. I am grateful for my Sweet Anna who is the perfect wife for me. We spoke last night about how grateful we are for our children and who God has made them. What are you grateful for this Tuesday?
