four questions and a prayer
From the “Shema,” I offer these questions to ask God about myself:
What do the words that come from my mouth tell me about the condition of my heart?
What do my fears tell me about what I REALLY believe and thus the true state of my soul?
What are the ways I am renewing my mind?
Which of my activities are drawing my strength away from serving God?
Lord, please show me and change me, I can’t, you must.
