This is day two in Budapest. I have an 8am across town so I’m up early. Yesterday was an excellent first day as I began re-connecting with folks for the work of the coming weeks. Bosnia trip is now verified, going to enjoy a couple of days of praying in Sarajevo and on a mountain in the south whilst sleeping in a tent!
It appears the team is all set with BA. They arrive tomorrow here about 1730. It also seems that I will have a vehicle to haul luggage in, thanks be to God indeed.
Connecting with people has been good. Several now wish me “Welcome Home!” these days, its fun. Waiting for my five words of Hungarian to return is always fun to I have carry on a five word conversation with a stranger.
Am looking forward to visiting a new outreach this afternoon. This small church in far NW Bp has an outreach to the homeless giving them sandwiches and tea. I will hang out with these folks from 1700 today to see whats up and lend a hand. I will be talking with them about their pre-school and how our team and Hungarian friends can lend a hand cleaning, painting or what-not two weeks from today. Oh, it’s 0655, I’m off to my 8am.
