The recession is now official. It now enters into most convrations. In conversations in the this week, I have heard an attitude of hunkering down. Folks in their twenties and forties are looking around at this growing storm and going inside to wait it out. Plans are put on hold, expenses are being limited, people are waiting, waiting for the storm to be over…
aren’t we looking too much the weather forecast?
I know one for sure, they are not always right… often they are, they are approximately correct, but also sometimes they are WAAAY OFF…
I am not sure, but I think there is a dude who can calm down the storm around us, as long as he is in the boat and we let him speak…
Oh I remember it is THA G.

No, Laci, its not a forecast, it is a measurement of the winds that are blowing and the snow that is falling and making the roads icy. It is no longer predictions, it is reporting of the storm. Of course, each storm effects different people differently, some have stronger houses, some live up the hill away from the raging creek which washes away the belongings of those who live near the creek… so the storm is blowing, its not a prediction, its here, its real… the great thing for many of us is that we know our hope is not in the economy or in our retirement account or our savings, our hope is in the Lord!
