I can’t believe this country…
in the world today there are people eeking (is that a word?) on $1 a day… but Americans can spend $5B on Halloween…
for crying out loud, this could be worse than a rant I had a couple of years ago when I heard that Americans spend $4BILLION on pet accessories!!!!!!!!!!!

dad maybe you shouldn’t listen to NPR… dad i didn’t spend any money on Haloweeeeeen! well that is only because I was in class.
I didn’t spend any money on Halloween either…although I did do my Christmas shopping on the weekend of Halloween! And here’s a can of worms opener…can we complain when other countries in the world complain about how much money Americans have while many in the rest of the world are starving! I encourage you to KEEP listening to NPR…..and maybe more people should…then maybe they would see how ridiculously foolishly some Americans spend their money……
