fall means a change: a regular change

I love fall: the cooler, dryer air, frosty mornings, changing of the colors… this tree, a maple of some sort, is the view from the seat in my living room where I start my day of travelin… what a great sight!

The other day, when catching up on some fellow bloggers I noticed a post from J.R. that talked about Scripture messing with me… I do hope Scripture messes with me… I read Nehemiah this morning and was challenged by the change that took place in the people in Jesrusalem… they repented. Why? from hearing the Word of God – daily! God’s message deserves our daily attention… as one email recently put it from a friend: “I was steeping in the Word…” this brings change… I need that regular change that comes from the Word daily.

more changing colors… from a walk around the neighboorhood pond

suffering

Almost a year ago, I posted about suffering and a line of reasoning that is my own perspective on suffering… this line of reasoning came from an email I sent a friend a few years ago when the question was posed: why did God let me suffer… in the story I am beginning to publish to on this blog I want to struggle with suffering as I edit the story for the blog…
